Cheveningi stipendiumid 2011/12 ja kaugemale
Stipendiumid eelarvet vähendati 10 miljoni Suurbritannia naelsterlingi £ 15.55m juunis 2010, Kuid ministrid on kokku lepitud, suhtes tulemus valitsuse kuluaruandes eest 2011-15, et välis-ja Rahvaste Office (FCO) peaks säästma stipendiumide programmi ning teeb selle strateegilisemat ja paremini suunatud. FCO on praegu tööd oluliselt suunata see 2011-12 aastast. Nad on uurinud kõiki valdkondi, sealhulgas kava abikõlblikkuse nõuetele, Valikukriteeriumid, sihtpiirkonna ja prioriteetsete ainevaldkondade. Mis on Cheveningi programmi?
Cheveningi programm, on, umbes 26 aastat, tingimusel üle 30,000 Stipendiumid kõrgharidusasutustes (LIFT) Suurbritannias kraadiõppe üliõpilastele või teadlaste riigis üle maailma.
Suuresti rahastatakse välisministeeriumi and Commonwealth Office, stipendiumiskeemi laekub ka olulist toetust kõrgkoolid ja teised organisatsioonid Suurbritannias, ja paljude välismaiste sponsorite, sealhulgas riiklike ja erasektori asutustega, kellega FCO või oma ülemeredepartemangudes Postitusi on partnerluslepingute.
Programmi haldab British Council, nimel FCO, nii Ühendkuningriigi ja ülemeremaade.
