Bourse de Best Buy, parrainé par la Fondation Best Buy pour enfants, est ouvert aux étudiants actuellement en grades 9-12 vivant aux États-Unis. ou à Porto Rico, qui ont l'intention d'assister à une accrédités des États-Unis. ou à Porto Rico collège ou une école professionnelle après l'obtention du diplôme d'études secondaires. Les bourses sont accordées aux étudiants qui font preuve d'engagement et implication dans le service bénévole de la collectivité ou de l'expérience de travail. La demande doit être complété par voie électronique en ligne; pas les demandes sur papier ne sera accepté.
The Best Buy Children’s Foundation recognizes how important teens are to our community and our society. We’re eager to learn what is important to them and help provide access to opportunities for them. Best Buy and Best Buy Children’s Foundation serve a diverse population of young teens in the areas of learning and leadership and provide access to opportunities for teens through technology. Through its support of out-of-school programs, Best Buy will be a conduit for teens to reach development opportunities that are important to them. Best Buy will help teens develop the technology skills they will need for success in college, careers and life… and when they’re ready, we’ll help students in grades 9-12 reach their dreams of college by providing access to education through the Best Buy Scholarship Program.
This year the program will award scholarships to students in grades 9-12 vivant aux États-Unis. or Puerto Rico who plan to enter a full-time undergraduate course of study upon high school graduation.
jusqu'à 1,200 students will each receive a $1,000 bourse. If you’re a 9-12 grade student who plans to attend post-secondary education, have solid grades and are involved in community service or work experience, we encourage you to apply! (Note: Previous winners are ineligible to apply.)
With the inception of the scholarship program dans 1999, Best Buy has now provided nearly $19.7 million in scholarship funds to help 15,438 students attend college. The program was restricted to high school seniors in the past but expanded in 2009 to include grades 9-11.
