The DAAD Information Center is located at the ground floor of the Thai-German Cultural Foundation, next to the Goethe Institut Bangkok (see our Office Map ). Our office is closed on public Thai holidays and on certain German holidays
Obxectivo
Varios tipos de soporte están dispoñibles para os membros de universidades estranxeiras, en relación con asociacións inter-universitaria. Estas asociacións son construídos esencialmente en acordos formais celebrados entre dúas institucións de ensino superior ou a súa xestión e prestación de cambio a longo prazo e medidas de cooperación. Detalles sobre a cooperación académica, así como o intercambio de estudantes, profesores, profesores e investigadores son rexidos por estes acordos de cooperación, que tamén define as responsabilidades de financiamento.

• Os interesados deberán informar a súa institución de ensino superior de orixe en canto á posibilidade de calquera firma asociacións con institucións alemás de ensino superior están en vigor dentro de cuxo marco dunha estadía en Alemaña podería ser finan.
• A promoción dunha colaboración inter-universitaria non exclúe a promoción de “Bilateral DAAD Programas de Co-operative Bolsas de Investigación” ou o “Bilaterais de intercambio de Academics”.

Practical training placements for students of the above mentioned subjects are arranged by the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE). Placements are, con todo, only available to countries with a National IAESTE Committee. Within the DAAD, unit 225 is the German National IAESTE Committee.
Duración
Usually, traineeships are two to three months in duration with various firms, institutions of higher education and research institutes. In individual cases, traineeships of extended duration can be arranged.
Valor
Trainees are usually paid 650.- € per month; the DAAD, con todo, is not able to grant additional funds to cover travel costs.
Requisitos
• Specific information on conditions of eligibility is available from the National IAESTE Committee of the member country concerned.
• Language Proficiency: Requirements regarding language proficiency of German differ greatly; some firms require their foreign trainees to have a good knowledge of German, many others however only ask for some basic knowledge necessary for communication at work. In some cases a good knowledge of English is sufficient.
• Training placements recruited in Germany are offered exclusively by the responsible National IAESTE Committee abroad, which in turn arranges placements for German university students. Unfortunately, the DAAD is unable to arrange traineeships for individual foreign applicants, except within the framework of the IAESTE exchange scheme.
• Precise information on when to submit applications is available from the IAESTE Thailand.
