Dua Inggeris dan dua beasiswa beasiswa luar negeri, dibiayai oleh Yayasan Amal Ernest Hecht, akan disediakan setiap sesi akademik untuk calon mahasiswa memulakan pengajian ijazah sarjana di UCL.
Syarat Keperluan
Applicants for the UK scholarships must be prospective students from the UK holding an offer of admission to pursue a full-time undergraduate programme of study within UCL’s Department of Spanish and Latin American Studies or in related areas in other UCL Departments such as in History and Anthropology.
Prospective undergraduates admitted to joint programmes, part-time or modular study are not eligible to apply.
Scholarships come into effect only once the student has fully enrolled at UCL on his/her chosen programme of study. Initial scholarship offers are provisional subject to the selected candidate fulfilling any entry requirements. In the event that a selected candidate does not fulfill his/her entry requirements, the scholarship offer is revoked, and the scholarship offered to the highest ranked reserve candidate.

Scholarship recipients and reserve candidates are selected on the basis of academic achievement and potential. Financial circumstances will not be taken into account.
Nilai: Benefits and Duration
UK scholarships consist of £500per annum for a maximum of three years.
Annual renewal of scholarships is subject to good progress by the scholar. Where recipients are enrolled on programmes of more than three years’ Tempoh, UCL may continue the award for the remaining years of the programme.
The scholarship may be held alongside other scholarships and awards.
All scholarship holders are expected to submit a short final report about their time at UCL and their career plans within two months of the termination of their scholarship.
Selection and Notification of Results
Scholarship recipients and reserve candidates will be selected in May/June by a panel of UCL academics on the basis of their scholarship applications and their UCAS admissions applications. The funder of the scholarships may attend the selection.
Successful and reserve candidates can expect to be notified by end June. Applicants who have not heard from the UCL Scholarships Office by end-July can assume that they have not been selected as a recipient or reserve for one of the scholarships.

* Sebuah esei dalam Bahasa Inggeris (kira-kira 1000 kata-kata) tentang apa saja biologi pilihan anda (misalnya. Pro dan kontra dari tanaman GM.)

Entries akan dinilai oleh Jawatankuasa Beasiswa berdasarkan prestasi dalam ujian A-level serta dokumentasi atas. Keputusan Jawatankuasa adalah muktamad. Batas akhir aplikasi adalah 15 Julai (atau hari kerja pertama selepas tarikh 15 jika batas waktu jatuh pada akhir pekan) untuk masuk pada bulan September tahun yang sama. Hasilnya akan diumumkan pada bulan Ogos selepas keputusan A-level.

Harold Fox menyelesaikan tesis PhD, “Pembangunan tengkorak dan struktur berkaitan dalam Amfibia dengan rujukan khusus kepada Urodela,” di 1951, di Jabatan Anatomi Zoologi dan Perbandingan, di bawah pengawasan Dr. Michael Abercrombie. Harold tetap di jabatan seumur hidupnya bekerja sampai 1994.
