Vanguard Minority Scholarship Program, sponsored by Vanguard, provides merit-based scholarships of up to $10,000 to minority students pursuing studies in business, finance, economics or accounting. To be considered, the student must be a racial minority, be entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate study in the fall of 2011, be enrolled full-time in an accredited four-year college or university in the United States, and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The student must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

The Save and Make the Grade Scholarship Program is sponsored by Family Dollar stores. The program is open to high school seniors who plan to enroll in, or students currently enrolled in, an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a 20-mile radius of a Family Dollar store. Twenty scholarships will be awarded, in the amount of $2,500 each. Read the rest of this entry »
The James L. and Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship Program was established pursuant to the provisions of the wills of James L. and Nellie M. Westlake for the purpose of assisting Missouri residents in pursuing a college education.
